ProMat 2019 Day 2 – Keeping the World Moving

As Day 2 gets underway at ProMat 2019 it’s clear to anyone that’s never attend this show, 1) it’s enormous with more than 75,000 attendees and 1,350 exhibitors across 535,000 square feet of floor space, and 2) it’s all about keeping the supply chains and manufacturing environments of the world moving quickly and more efficiently. That means you will see the latest and greatest technology from fork trucks to robotic solutions and everything in between. Here are a few things that caught my eye as I walked the show floor today:

Video – Robots Composing Music (Must See)

Robotics for the manufacturing of TV’s

Robots and Cobots for automotive production

Inventory management solutions

Vision sensor technology

Hand-held RFID readers

The question of whether a hand-held will work after being fully submerged in water has been answered.
